1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

• Contact and project details — your name, phone number, email address, service address, town or city, the service you need, and anything you write in a message or form field.
• Property information — measurements, roof or siding condition, photographs of your home, permit-related details, and similar information gathered during an inspection or estimate.
• Financing information — if you request financing, information you submit to our third-party lending partners in connection with a prequalification or credit application. We generally do not receive or store your full credit application or credit report.
• Insurance claim information — claim numbers, adjuster contact details, and scope-of-loss documents you choose to share for storm or damage work.
• Payment information — processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card or bank account numbers on our systems.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, general location (city or region), browser and device type, operating system, and referring website.
• Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and how you arrived at the site — including campaign tags such as utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign that identify whether you came from Google Search, our Google Business Profile listing, or an ad.
• Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 7).

Call and message information

We use tracking phone numbers to understand which marketing sources generate calls. When you call or text a number listed on this website, we may collect the calling number, the date, time, and duration of the call, whether it was answered, voicemail recordings, and the content of text messages you exchange with us. Some calls are recorded or monitored (see Section 5).

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from Google (including Google Business Profile and Google Ads), review platforms, advertising and analytics providers, lead referral services, our financing partners, product manufacturers, your insurance carrier, and publicly available property records.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to estimate requests, return your call, and schedule inspections and appointments.
• To prepare quotes, perform contracted work, order materials, obtain permits, and coordinate crews and subcontractors.
• To process payments, invoice you, and register manufacturer and workmanship warranties.
• To send appointment reminders, project updates, and service-related messages by phone, text, or email.
• To send promotions, seasonal offers, and follow-ups where you have consented — you can opt out at any time.
• To measure and improve our advertising, understand which marketing channels work, and improve our website and services.
• To train and evaluate our team, resolve disputes, maintain records, and comply with legal, tax, licensing, insurance, and warranty obligations.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3. Legal Basis and Choice

Providing your information is voluntary. If you decline to provide contact or property details, we may not be able to give you an estimate or perform work. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is never a condition of purchasing any product or service from us.

4. Text Messages (SMS)

When you provide your mobile number through our website forms, by texting us, or by giving it to a member of our team, you consent to receive text messages from Cooper Modifications relating to your estimate, appointment, or project. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you may also receive promotional texts.

• Message frequency varies based on your project and your interaction with us.
• Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• To stop: reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts. You may continue to receive a single confirmation message.

• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers may be disclosed only to the service providers that help us deliver messages on our behalf, and those providers are prohibited from using the information for any other purpose.

5. Call Recording and Monitoring

Some incoming and outgoing calls with Cooper Modifications are recorded or monitored for quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and record-keeping. Connecticut law requires that all parties to a recorded telephone conversation be notified. You will be given notice at the start of a recorded call, and this Privacy Policy serves as additional notice. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will either stop the recording or continue by email or text instead.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers — our website host, CRM and phone system, scheduling and estimating software, email and text messaging providers, analytics providers, and payment processors, each acting on our instructions.
• Employees, crews, and subcontractors — only what they need to perform your project.
• Financing partners — when you request financing or prequalification, so that they can evaluate your application. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information.
• Manufacturers and suppliers — to order materials, register product warranties, and process warranty claims.
• Your insurance carrier or adjuster — when you ask us to work with them on a damage claim.
• Advertising and analytics platforms — including Google and Meta, which may receive information about your interaction with our website through cookies and pixels for measurement and advertising purposes. Some state privacy laws treat this kind of disclosure as a "sale" or as "targeted advertising" even when no money changes hands. See Section 9 for how to opt out.
• Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, and insurers, as needed.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or regulatory request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the above.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand the performance of our advertising. These may include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Meta (Facebook) advertising tools.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and adjust ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings and Meta ad preferences.

Global Privacy Control. Our website recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal and treats it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and any sharing of your information that qualifies as a sale under applicable state law.

8. Data Retention

We keep estimate and lead information for as long as needed to follow up and for our business records. Project files, contracts, invoices, photos, and warranty records are kept for the length of the applicable warranty plus any period required by Connecticut law, our insurers, and tax rules. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Obtain your data in a portable format.
• Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.
• Obtain a list of the third parties to which we have disclosed personal data.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by writing to coopermodifications@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond in writing within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, Connecticut residents may submit a complaint to the Connecticut Attorney General at portal.ct.gov/ag.

10. Marketing Opt-Out

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any message, reply STOP to any text, or ask us to add you to our internal do-not-contact list. We will still contact you about active projects, warranty matters, and scheduled appointments.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls limiting information to team members who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell the personal data of, or deliver targeted advertising to, anyone we know to be under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Websites

Our site links to third-party sites, including financing partners, manufacturers, review platforms, and social media. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
